The Salem work we take on is mostly the difficult end. Large trees in tight city gardens, removals close to houses, garages and drop wires, and pruning on mature specimens where the owner wants the tree kept and the clearance gained. Those are sectioned down piece by piece, rigged and lowered, with the drop zone agreed before a saw runs.

It is a longer drive than Albany or Corvallis, so we are honest about what makes sense. A mowing visit or a small tidy up this far north is not something we would take on and then let you down over. For the trees themselves the ground is much the same as the rest of this valley. Wet winters, dry summers, soft ground near the river and a wind that finds anything exposed. If you have something you have started watching, get somebody to look at it. Estimates are free and they happen at the property, and most jobs are quoted the same day we look.

Stump grinding travels well and it is often the whole reason for a Salem visit, because a lot of city removals get done without it and the stump sits in the lawn afterwards.
